I bought this to have a UV protection umbrella always in my bag so I can quickly use it when the sun is strong. I can definitely feel less heat underneath it. It’s also useful for protecting kids while they’re playing in the sand at the park.

The UPF 50+ fabric we use is specially coated for sun protection. Because of its density and finish, slight creasing may occur. This is completely normal and does not affect the umbrella’s performance. It is actually a sign of how protective the material really is.

Yes. While Sunbarry umbrellas are designed primarily for sun protection, they also handle light rain (and snow) with ease and are perfect for unexpected summer showers.
Please note that they are not made for strong wind or stormy weather. They are elegant everyday helpers, not storm gear.
